How do I register online?
- You can register by clicking on the Camp Registration link on the left hand column. There are also yellow Online Registration buttons throughout the website.
Is online registration the only way to sign up for camp?
- No, there are also camp brochures in .pdf format located on their respective pages/links which can be printed out, filled out and mailed in. We do however prefer, if possible, for you to register online, as there are medical waivers and forms that need to be completed prior to participating in camp.
Where is Seminole Tennis Camp?
- Seminole Tennis Camp is located in Tallahassee, Florida on the campus of Florida State University. The camp itself will be using the Scott Speicher Tennis Facility. Maps have been provided under our Maps link to both the courts as well as to the residential dorms at SouthGate Dormitory.
Do I need to bring lunch?
- All REGULAR CAMP DAY CAMPERS must bring $5 for lunch. Lunch is covered for Residential Campers in their camp fees.
- All High Performance Campers, both residential and day campers, do NOT need to bring lunch.
What happens if it rains at High Performance After School, is there a makeup session?
- There is no makeup session, we will continue to hold clinics even if it rains. During rain days we will utilize the opportunity to focus more on physical training and mental preparation and training.
What happens if it rains at Junior Development or Quickstart, is there a makeup date?
- In the event of rain, please call Kat White (850)644-1893 after 3pm. for further information. Make up clinics will be added on at the end of the session What happens if it rains at Summer Camp, is there a makeup session?
- All campers will resume regular camp activities indoors.
Can a camper leave during camp?
- All campers must remain with the camp at all times, unless a family member requests to pick-up camper for a specified period of time.
What should campers who drive do with their cars?
- Overnight campers will be able to park their cars at SouthGate Dormitory's parking garage, and must turn their keys in at registration. No camper is allowed to drive during camp. Day Campers need to park in a visitor's parking spot at the parking garage on the corner of Stadium Drive and Spirit Way.
Where do I check-in?
- Residential Campers will check-in at SouthGate Dorms. Day Campers will check-in at Scott Speicher Tennis Facility.
What is the policy on refunds?
- There is a NON-REFUNDABLE $150 (Regular) & $300 (High Performance) deposit upon registration. If you have already paid the full price, refunds outside of the deposit will be returned upon proper notification of withdrawal from any camp session 2 weeks prior to the registration deadline.
- Other options include changing sessions, or crediting your payment to a different session or for the following year. Is there a group rate ?
- Groups of 6 or more participants will receive a 10% discount. Due to intricacies in the online registration process, this 10% referral discount will be given at check-in. |
