Dwayne Hultquist—FSU Men’s Head Coach

High Performance Director
Under Dwayne Hultquist's leadership, Florida State men's tennis has emerged as one of the top twenty programs in the nation. Last season, Hultquist led the No. 10 Seminoles to its highest national ranking in program history as well as a seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance acting as host for Regionals. In 2005, Hultquist coached the Tribe, including two-time All-American Mat Cloer to the NCAA Elite Eight for the first time ever. Entering his ninth season at Florida State, Hultquist first began his coaching career as an assistant coach at the University of Texas. While working under legendary coach Dave Snyder, Hultquist coached nine All-Americans, helped lead the Longhorns to six conference titles and made it to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in each of his eight years. Hultquist began his tennis career at Penn State where he was a four-year letterman and team captain in 1986.

Nick Crowell—FSU Associate Head Coach

High Performance Director
Entering into his seventh season, assistant coach Nick Crowell continues to have a profound impact on the Florida State tennis program. Since Crowell’s arrival, the Noles have reached the Sweet 16 three times and the Elite 8 once. In 2007, Crowell helped lead the No. 10 Seminoles to their highest national ranking in program history after defeating the Florida Gators for the first time in 10 years. After boasting the No. 1 recruiting class in 2006, Crowell was named the ITA Mideast Region Men’s Tennis Assistant Coach of the Year and became a finalist for the national award. Crowell’s dedication to High Performance and Seminole Tennis Camps has allowed the tennis community to flourish in Tallahassee. Crowell began his collegiate tennis career at the University of Texas where he earned All-American honors in doubles and also won the ITA National Indoor Doubles Championships. He later went on to achieve a career high World Ranking in doubles of #370 in the world.

Jen Hyde - FSU Women's Head Coach

Since her arrival to Florida State 5 years ago, Hyde has taken a team which was ranked #72 in the nation and turned the team in to a consistent top 20 finisher during the last three seasons.

As one of Florida State’s most successful tennis coaches in program history, Hyde has coached five athletes who currently hold 19 school records.

Coach Hyde enters the 2010 spring season with 4 nationally ranked players from the squad, the most players ever recognized in the rankings at one time.

The 2008-09 season featured Coach Hyde leading her team to the NCAA Tournament for the third-consecutive year, battling in the third round of the ACC Championships for the second consecutive season while also defeating the Florida Gators for the first time in program history.

In 2008, Hyde placed her team in the top 16 in the country with seven shut-out matches throughout the year. The impressive launch to the 2008 spring season was not only the best start in program history, but also stands out as the best in ACC history.

Mat Cloer

Head Developmental Coach
One of Florida State's most decorated players, Mat Cloer is now in his third year of being the Assistant Coach for the Men’s Program. Cloer finished his playing career as a two-time ACC Player of the Year and the first ever All-American singles player in school history. After his collegiate career, he took his talents to the pro circuit reaching a world ranking of 780 during his professional career.

Oliver Foreman

Developmental Coach
Entering into his fifth season as Florida State’s assistant women's tennis coach, Oliver Foreman has helped lead the Seminoles to one of the top collegiate programs in the nation. Last season, Foreman was named the National Assistant Coach of the Year. Foreman began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach at the Ali Hamadeh's Tennis Academy in 2004. During his brief stint there he coached four juniors to the Super Nationals Tournament and also aided in generating a prestigious junior development program with over 40 juniors. Foreman played on the Professional Tennis Tour from 2002-2004 and prior to that competed four years at Middle Tennessee State where he ranked as high as No.5 nationally in doubles.

Bobby Cameron

Assistant Coach
Bobby Cameron comes to Seminole High Performance as one of the most decorated junior players in the country. Bobby reached a high of #2 in the USTA National junior rankings. Bobby was a standout player for the University of Tennessee playing #1 singles and doubles during his stay with the Vols. Bobby is now a full-time coach with Seminole High Performance Tennis and is also finishing his MBA at Florida State University.

Chris Cloer

Assistant Coach
Chris Cloer is one of the most clutch players in FSU history. He boasts a 6-0 career record in NCAA Team competion for the Noles. He is also finished his playing career at FSU in the top 10 in singles victories. As a junior, Chris was ranked in the top 20 in the USTA junior rankings and was the #1 player in North Carolina. Chris is now working full-time with the Seminole High Performance Team and is finishing up his degree at FSU.

Vicky Tomatis

Assistant Coach
Vicky Tomatis comes to Seminole High Performance from Argentina. She was one of the top junior players in Argentina during her junior career. She reached a career high of #1 in the country in the Girl’s 16 and under. After her junior career, she joined the Ole Miss Tennis Team in Oxford, Mississippi. During her career as a Rebel, she was an All-SEC standout. Vicky is getting her Master’s Degree in Sports Nutrition.

Drew Bailey

Assistant Coach
Drew Bailey finished his career at FSU with an outstanding career. He was one of the top doubles players during his four year career. Bailey was an instrumental part of the singles line-up in 2009 where he won 10 of his last 11 matches to end his career. Drew also had a great junior career playing in all of the Super National events during his career. He was a high school standout as well playing for Lincoln. Drew will complete his final year of MBA School this year.

David Berry

Assistant Coach
David Berry is a local Tallahassee stand-out who was an All-Big Bend player for Leon. David also went on to play Division I College tennis at the Richmond University. David played #1 doubles while at Richmond. David has moved back to Tallahassee where he is pursuing his Masters Degree. David also traveled to Europe this summer with a group of young tennis players on a European Circuit. We are glad to have David back in Tallahassee.

Dillon Brozyna

Assistant Coach
Dillon Brozyna comes to Seminole High Performance this year for his second tenure with us. He started in 2007 and was an intrical part of the team. He left in 2008 to pursue his law degree. He returns in 2009 to acquire his law degree from FSU and work with the Seminole High Performance Team. As a player, Dillon was a stand-out national player that went on to play his college career at the University of South Florida. We would like to welcome Dillon back to the program in 2009.
